about badbunsen.com

left: my persona wearing a cap, right: a gross representation of what i actually look like

Aleph "Badbunsen" Diallo is an American visual artist.
Badbunsen.com is his website where he shows his art. It was once called rubberocket for some time, but I'll bet you can't spell that right the first try.

No, seriously, what is this place? Who are you?

My name is Badbunsen, and I find myself drawing things very often. Since I always wanted to have a website of my very own—even as a five year old from what I can remember—I started to make some around 2018, when I got my first computer.
Now that I actually have a full-fledged, I can safely say that it's worth it. Coding these pages is just as fun as drawing what's going to be on them. Except for the part where I can never stick with one thing, so the site goes under construction very often. Hopefully that'll change with this iteration.
There's a lot of things about this website that have stayed the same, though. Here's a list of them:

ART - This is where all my artwork goes. Currently, since I haven't redesigned it yet, there's not much to see. There was a lot at one point, though, so take a look at the /oldstuff/stuff/artwork/ directory and see what I had for a good while. These fifteen pieces span over four years... mostly 2024 and 2025, though. Everything else probably wasn't worth keeping.

ABOUT - You're looking at it right now!

CONTACT - Exactly what it says on the tin: ways you can complain to me about all sorts of stuff... no, not like how your divorce is going, and certainly not your struggles with trauma. But I can help you understand that you're not alone and help redirect you to the right place.

404 - I'm serious, this is the only thing that every iteration of badbunsen.com has gotten right. A page not found error. Really.

What did this site look like in XXXX?

Set up a local web server, extract this archived zip file into there and find out. I'm not gonna waste space on stuff that isn't super noteworthy. That's the Internet Archive's job.

What socials do you have?

None that I post on regularly. However, I do have a strawpage. If I ever start posting on instagram or something, find it through there.

How'd you come up with your persona?

It represents perception. How one goes about their life with their own viewpoint of everything and everyone. How it's up to them to formulate how they see others.
Either that or I have a music taste that includes the Residents. I dunno.
